ABOUT THE AUTHOR


John Paul Rossie served on active duty with the U.S. Naval Forces from 1968 to 1970, where he provided combat support activities including coastal surveillance, search and rescue, and Naval gunfire support in the Vietnam Theater. He was awarded, among others, the Vietnam Service Medal with three campaign stars and the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal.

Rossie is a Denver resident who spends time in a florescent green cabin called Frogville II, on the outskirts of Alma, Colorado, (elevation 10,538 feet) in the shadow of Mt. Bross. He has authored numerous technical and educational articles and books, including a fiction novel about Vietnam called "JASON'S DEMONS," which has been used at the University of New Mexico in the English Department curriculum entitled: "Literature of the Viet Nam War: Engaging Alienation."

Rossie holds undergraduate degrees in English and Business Management as well as graduate degrees in Information Systems (MBA), Telecommunications (MS), and Philosophy (MA), with a graduate degree in Computer Science (MS) currently in progress.
